Mixed Dal Bhajiya
This bhajiya is a favorite among everyone at home. Traditionally, they are deep-fried, making it a fat food. However, I decided to give an exclusive makeover to this amazing traditional dish by excluding oil, keeping the nutrient content intact. Here goes the recipe…
- 1/2 cup urad dal
- 1/2 cup moong dal chilkewali
- 1/2 cup chana dal
- 2 -3 tbsp rice
- 4-5 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp sesame seed powder
- Salt to taste
- Soak all the dals and rice together for 6 to 8 hours, grind the mixture and let it ferment for an hour or so.
- Add salt, sesame seed powder and coriander leaves.
- Preheat oven for about 10 mins at 180 degrees. Grease the oven tray with coconut butter.
- Place the ground mixture over it and bake till crispy, turn around and let it cook on other side as well.
- Serve with green or sweet chutney.
