Mixed Dal Bhajiya

This bhajiya is a favorite among everyone at home. Traditionally, they are deep-fried, making it a fat food. However, I decided to give an exclusive makeover to this amazing traditional dish by excluding oil, keeping the nutrient content intact. Here goes the recipe…

  1. Soak all the dals and rice together for 6 to 8 hours, grind the mixture and let it ferment for an hour or so.
  2. Add salt, sesame seed powder and coriander leaves.
  3. Preheat oven for about 10 mins at 180 degrees. Grease the oven tray with coconut butter.
  4. Place the ground mixture over it and bake till crispy, turn around and let it cook on other side as well.
  5. Serve with green or sweet chutney.
