Ragi Fudge Squares

One of the favourite recipes from our Happy Periods program. It’s high in calcium, iron and essential fatty acids which help in combating those side effects and symptoms of PMS, menstrual discomfort as well as menopause.

  1. Roast the ragi till its slightly fragrant. Cool it and grind it coarsely.
  2. Add desiccated coconut, cashew powder & dry dates powder.
    Mix in tahini and mix well.
  3. Now knead the dates in this mixture with your fingers till a dough is formed.
  4. Set this dough by pressing in a square or rectangular mould (1/2 inch thickness)
  5. Chill for an hour 2 before cutting into the shapes you desire.
  6. Store in a airtight container in the fridge.
