Ragi Gondh Ladoos
This winter try making these super healthy ragi – gondh laddoos . I still remember in my non vegan days we use to make gondh laddoos loaded with ghee .
But these whole foods plant based ragi -gondh laddoos are such a delight ! They are so tasty and healthy .. honestly they even beat the conventional ghee loaded gondh laddoos.
Whole food plant based ragi gondh laddoos.
- 1 cup roasted ragi flour
- 1/2 cup gondh - gum Arabic ,dry roasted and crushed
- 1/4 cup soft dates deseeded
- 1/4 cup peanut butter or more
- 1/4 cup dried coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1 /2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- A pinch of rock salt
- Combine everything together in a soft Ladoo mixture. Add more peanut butter if needed for binding.
- Adjust the sweetness as per your liking.
- Let the gondh be out in the sun for a day. Then dry puff the gondh on low heat . They will puff nicely when given a prior sun soak.
